Fruits can not only be eaten as healthy snacks, but are also naturally low in calories and provide you with essential nutrients. This article lists a selection of fruits along with their calories from low to high.

The following table lists the calorie content of some low calorie fruits. Low calorie has been defined here as "containing less than 50 calories". The serving size for each fruit is 100 grams of its edible portion.

There is more to fruits than just their calories. For example, while a banana might contain more calories than an apple, it also provides you with different amounts of vitamins and minerals. And while avocados are high in calories, they are one of the foods that help you lose weight.
So while it is good to be aware of how many calories are contained in certain fruits, the amount of calories in food is only one of the 3 levels of diet and nutrition, so don’t go overboard with it.
